I was talking about vex… I know it is used often in the world, but in vex, it is just used to make monstrosities.
I rarely get into the 3d print argument (I’ll leave that “dead horse” for others), but at a minimum, if VRC can ever 3d print parts there will be a whole lot more CAD being used to create such parts (we’re assuming, of course, that students are planning to design unique parts, and not just try to print gears, sprockets, and bearings for the .step files). The other area for CAD in VRC is for those teams/organizations who may not get as much lab time for building tinkerbots…or perhaps no access during the summer if they are tied to a school. CAD allows design to take place without tinkering.

It has begun. Only time will tell the outcome.

@seenSeal is catching up on memes…

I have been out on spring break and saving the memes for history class ![]()
And then it says error invalid effort
I had a sister team once that tried I think set Flywheel max torque to 5000000000000000000000. It didn’t make a noticeable difference, that I recall.
Gotta love believing that an absurd number would change anything.
You guys need to delete lines? Just be like me and forget to turn on the router while rebooting it.
