At my states competition, my team got third in skills with the same score as second. Usually, a tie would be broken by taking the higher of the two auton skills score, but in this case both the driver and auton scores were the same. To break the tie, the EP used the second highest autonomous scores from the competition from either team. My team’s zip ties hadn’t been touching the matchload bar in our first 2 attempts, so we lost the tiebreaker.
Is this how tiebreaks should be done in this instance?
