The only rule I see in the manual is <R18> which is just limiting PSI of a pneumatic system, what is a “pneumatic system”? could I just use a pneumatic cylinder as a gas spring, or is that a pneumatic system(so two motors would be lost with V5)?

It has been answered in prior years that to use any pneumatic component would cost you the 2 motors.
It’s also worth noting that previous Q&A’s have noted that pneumatics cannot be considered nonfunctional decorations
The use of pneumatic tubing however, is allowed.
Pressure gauges for the pneumatics are also illegal, according to this Q&A from last August.
