Right now there are 584 teams registered to go to worlds. Over 6 divisions equates to 97-98 teams per division. This is way too much. Would the smartest solution be to add another division to space out teams? I believe this many people per division will extend the experience and force divisions to have up to 250-300 matches per division. As long as the space allotted to VEX allows for it, why wouldn’t there be another division created?
It is seven divisions - 7 MS and 3 VEXU.
I had been mistaken about this not realizing JROTC have the event separately.
Another query: Even without JROTC, this event center has MUCH less exhibition space. With 10 different divisions between MS and VXU, overcrowding seems likely
Remember – there was an entire hall of KBHCC that was unused for VEX Worlds (besides Team Check-In for one of the years, IIRC).
