After a push autonomous and both robots are pushing into each other do you have to back away? After autonomous we were told we had to back away and I can’t seem to find the rule anywhere.
No, this is likely intentional. Unless they holding them in one place for more than 3 sec, then it is considered holding.
It’s a valid interpretation of the SG10 rules regarding stalemates, since both bots are in a stalemate at the end of auto, they are in violation of SG10 if they don’t immediately get out of the goal.
Could you just back up or should you lift your wing in this scenario?
In my reading of the rules, as long as you don’t descore any blocks while doing so, you could just back up out of the enclosed section of the goal (which is ofc what would be preferred), however some refs might view the rule differently. Best to post a Q&A.
