Does the removal of <G5> mean a Student may belong to two VIQRC Teams?

In the 2025–26 VIQRC Mix & Match manual, rule stated:

“Each Student can only belong to one Team.”

In the 2026–27 VIQRC Level Up manual, Version 2.0, rule was deleted, as noted in the manual’s version history. I cannot find an equivalent rule in the current Level Up manual stating that a Student can only belong to one Team.

My question is: Under the 2026–27 Level Up rules, may a Student be a member of two VIQRC Teams during the same competition season?

For example, could a Student officially belong to Team A and Team B, while only participating as a Driver, Coder, Designer, Builder, Strategist, or Notebooker for Team A, and not performing those roles or contributing competitively to Team B?

I am specifically asking because the previous season explicitly prohibited multiple-Team membership through , but that rule was removed from the 2026–27 manual.

Does the removal of mean that simultaneous membership in two Teams is now permitted, provided the Student otherwise complies with all current requirements and other rules?

Thank you.

The rule is now here:

I think it’s a good move. The elegability deals with a program, but elegability is also between programs. So it’s good to have the rule exist to cover all students, not just the students in that program.

In Middle School, you can have kids compete in IQ and V5. but neither manual can talk about eligibility in the both programs. Now that eligibility is out of the manual and in this rule, it actually covers everything it needs to in one spot.
