Don't you hate it when

You are so so excited to show our coach your robot and the second it moves it falls flat on its back.

For turning point, our robot could reliably wheelie for about 60 feet before needing to stop. This was on cortex so you know just how top heavy we were.

Don’t you hate it when you work on the robot for like 3 hours, and when you show the new (previously working) mechanism to your coach, it breaks, and you look like an idiot?

Don’t you hate it when you are allianced with the best team in the Competition and then their robot breaks and doesn’t work in the match.

Don’t you hate it when the new team thinks they have a better robot than you

I hate it when I have these things happen, especially when you are that “best team”. At 2016 FRC worlds, we were on track to win our division as rank 1, but we lost during quarterfinals due to our first pick’s drivetrain breaking irreparably.

Also at 2015 FRC worlds, we were also on track to win our division as first pick of the first seed. I’m not bragging, but us and them were the only two “good” teams in our division. In the final seconds of the first quarterfinal match, we placed a stack unluckily on top of a pool noodle which caused it to tip and knock over another stack. This made a garbage can go out of the field, DQing our alliance for removing game objects from the field . Also, things were based on average score, not win/loss, so even though we still won the match, the 8th seed advanced to the semifinals.

Don’t you hate it when they actually do have a better robot than you?

that’s a fat RIP m8. Sorry for your loss.
Also, don’t you hate it when you are set to win a match and then you and your teammate’s connection gets lost because of a tower issue? I sure do

Don’t you hate it when you need to leave your team because you’re moving?

Don’t you hate it when you lose the semifinals match at states bc the ref miscounted and you only notice after you walked away. That was how I missed worlds by one point. One would say, my turning point.

Don’t you hate it when they copy your robot exactly

don’t you hate it when you go to a competition and find out that none of your four batteries are charged, and later in the day you forgot your lunch

Don’t you hate it when you realize that they made the same robot before you after you accuse them of copying you?

Don’t you hate it when you kindly decline your teammate’s mother’s proposal to buy a Pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut for everyone and when she comes back with Taco’s you are silently sitting in a corner chewing on your PB&J while everyone else is eating tacos because you can’t take back your answer?

don’t you hate it when you have to think and not just copy the best teams design :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t you hate it when cats start jumping around the field during skills practice? no, just me then (:

Pets always seem to love the fields. Both IQ and VRC. I don’t know what it is about them. It’s not just you.

Don’t you hate it when your laptop dies while you’re programming?

Dont you hate it when the robot’s working fine on competition practice fields but as soon as you place it in for the first round everything breaks
