My DR4B has some movement from side to side. The channels that attach it to the drive base are not braced very much, and I suspect that may be the issue. Any tips are appreciated !
(the pulleys are for attaching rubber bands. If I need bands on the top bar too, pls let me know. Thx!)
As long as the rubber bands you do have form an equilateral triangle when your lift is up and you think the band power is enough to help your motors you should be good. I do believe you should band both the top and bottom stage so that the bands aren’t uneven. Your swaying seems fine as long as everything is tightened properly and you don’t have issues otherwise. Some cross braces on the lift wouldn’t hurt.
I do already have cross bracing on the midsection. Do you mean on the 4 bars or the posts?
