Drive Shaft Bar Lock for the new v5 hero bot

so I noticed some of the pieces needed for the flex hero bot are NOT present within the competition starter kit, because of this I am wondering if A. Should I buy such pieces (not me but schedule the instructor to purchase them with the class funds) or B. Should I improvise

There are 8 total drive shaft bar locks included in the competition starter kit. To help with your search of finding these parts I am including a picture of the part. If you cannot find them the part number for purchasing replacements is 275-1065.

Thank you for this, unfortunately I think we have lost that piece because it is not present within my set.
