We are VERY stuck on elevation ideas and have 4 hours of meetings left before our last Comp. to qualify for states. We are at 7/8 full motors, none can be removed and flywheel and wings can’t be moved. We’re also a very heavy bot with all blue drive motors. If you have ANY ideas just let me know (Photos are also helpful(Please))
Do a passive hang mech. This involves a pneumatic flip-out that you use to balance on the middle barrier.
Here’s hailstorm’s mech:

Also, I would not use all those 1x5x1 c-channels for the bottomof your bot. That is extremely heavy and could easily be remedied with some cross braces.
First of all, take a chill pill. You’ll be alright.
The easiest way to qualify for states is through skills, so I would recommend focusing on that and programming as opposed to elevation. With 4 hours of practice time, it’s going to be very hard to finish your build in time with the testing needed. Additionally, from past experience, I can tell you that it’s best to not build new things on your robot the day before competition, they can mess you up very badly. However, If you are deadset on getting a hang, there are many balance hangs that you can do. Mind you, this is only possible if you can get over the barrier, but some sort of rod to flip out and let you hang is viable. there are many robots on YouTube that you can take inspiration from.
