How will the engineering book be submitted this year? Will it be virtual or physical? If it is virtual, will there be a form that we will be provided to complete or will it be free form?
All of these are great question that
- Have been asked before and remain unanswered
- Was actively discussed in the EP partner summit
- Plans are being formed on what to do for events
- We (Event Partners and Team members) expect updates to the judging info that will answer this question.
As all things in this season, hang in there, people are trying to figure it out the details.
I didn’t see this change in the game manual updates. Are the judging rubrics on the same update schedule?
We were all hoping that, but the week is still in its early days…
Our First Comption for Vex Iq is in November
Is there a difference? Does it say anything about digital notebook?
Edit: found it!
Five (5) points if notebook is bound. If a Digital
Engineering Notebook or a printed copy one, five
(5) points if the entries contain a time stamp that
can be confirmed
It is not worth the shot…the point of the notebook is to use it as a tool to make a better robot, not as a prize collector
umm, that wouldn’t work lol. All the contents in the notebook would need changing. Not just the sketches and game title.
Thanks!

And I was sniped by @Noah10851B on this, thanks Edge!!!
If the event has in person judging (the way it has always been), then teams will turn in notebooks as they always have. Digital Notebooks will not be used in that case.
If the event has virtual judging, then Digital Notebooks will be presented. When that submission is due is at the discretion of the EP.
