Entering Solo

in that case, i look forward to seeing @Banjo2rise winning worlds all by himself with his dad’s hard earned money!

Foster stop promoting pyramid schemes.

Personally, no, but I know of a couple VEX teams in California that were paid for by one adult and had a couple other members not related to them be on the same team.

I understand that you don’t want anyone stealing/breaking your parts, but part of VEX is about trust. If you have a hard time accepting that, maybe your dad should return the IQ parts and you can look into FLL or something else that is more friendly to individuals.

If you aren’t willing to work with other people, Vex IQ is not the program for you. If you can get farther by having a “freeloader,” as you might call them, on your team, are they really a freeloader? Robotics is about the work you do, not the money you spend.

CAN EVERYONE UNDERSTAND THAT I WAS ASKING A QUESTION- I DID NOT SAY I WAS ENTERING SOLO! But I will take on board everything that you guys have said.

Thank you! I appreciate your response and will take it on board

I NEVER SAID I WAS ENTERING BY MYSELF- I live in the UK and trust me when I say VEX IQ isnt famous round here. I have been looking for a teammate but havent been able to find one. I am not trying to be a one-man team but if it comes to it then I may have to. Entering solo will always be my last resort. I was just asking

I totally agree now. I was looking at it in the wrong way.

I’m closing this topic as there is nothing more to add.
