Whats your guys favorite pushback robot designs so far? for me I would say ruiguans robot
My favorite is the hoard; it grabs up a bunch of blocks and then scores all of them very quickly.
(My second favorite is S bot because it can hold a decent amount and can also score fast)

I think S-bot would be better if it could open a trap door to allow blocks to travel in a straight line, like Ruiguan.
Most robots that go under the goal. TNTN, 99%, Tokyo Mater, and 1138B have/had some of the best scoring this year. Underbar should be meta and I will die on this hill!

I can’t see what you’re replying to because discourse is flawless and works perfectly but I’ll assume it was my first post. I don’t think underbar will get much bigger, with the lack of success from teams like redeem and tokyo mater at signature events and the localization of the design in Cali R4. I think the meta each season has a bit of a survivorship bias, where most teams switch to designs that perform well in the early season by October and neglect to develop other designs. We saw this with hood last year, with 1010G showing that Hood Lady Brown had significant advantages over Hook Lady Brown and Hood still being considered unviable. It seems to be happening this year, with S and Ruiguan outnumbering other designs because people switched to them after Highlander and MoA were won by Ruiguan/S duos.

That robot is probably going to have some overheating issues with the scoring arm. (maybe not. IDK the gearing) Its defantily an amazing robot!

The reloading leads me to believe that it uses a slip gear, which would likely not overheat in a match.

This is incorrect, a team member told me it’s just a 100 rpm motor directly connected to the c-channel. That makes holecounting easier!

This may actually be the best robot in HS right now. With a few modifications to add color sorting and increase hoarding, this may rival TNTN. (well, maybe not…)
I would honestly say either S robot or straight robot.
I love Tokyo maters bot its very fast as scoring but it I a c bot so you have to turn around when loading and scoring.
