What are some good ideas for things to be on the lookout for when writing the Field Note to Judges?
I know a few examples would be teams doing something nice for other teams, the ways they handle difficulties they face, and also any concerns the judges might need to take into account.
keep it honest brief and accurate judges already have a lot of material to cover and points to discuss. some examples I can think of are:
- being timely
- being courteous
- being well prepared for mishaps
- staying organized during comp
- “nice” during alliance selection
- helping junior teams if they are struggling
Field notes to judges also include negatives, such as adults working on robots while no students around (younger years).
Field notes come from Pit admin, referees, etc.
