First pushback design:

This is our first design, it kinda messy we rushed it. Good luck next year everyone!

We also have this thing to push other “octaballs” out of the long scoring zone. Still tryna work things out for this though.

There it is. The (in)official name of this season’s scoring object:

Nice design, btw. I feel the meta bot will look close to yours and the meta bot of tower takeover. Great job.

Exactly. this name is well thought out and planned. the creator is very smart (not as smart as me though)

how about octadeci ball

can i have it too???(20 char pass)

i was thinking an intake on the back for storage and getting the blocks up the robot and having a 4 or 6 bar up front. Also, i think having a small drive or smaller then last years game. (Please don’t steal, take inspiration)

Why not just say blocks :sob:

yeah why does it have to be complex?

At this point, I’m still ‘full volumed’ out. (I still having flashbacks from full volume). Octaball is a more fun term, and I just like to say it.

It’s three syllables it’s really not that complex.

Octoball. (20 chars)

What do you think guys which is better to use 4 or 6 motors drive train in this season?

blocks are boring. and octoballs or octadeci ball is simular to over under’s triballs

I think it will be important to have drive holding and a powerful intake system, because you could have bots at either end of a goal both trying to force cubes in, and the strongest robot will win.

Depressing…………(twenty chars)

Don’t think speed or pushing force will be as important so I would do 4 motor

I believe we should use a balance of 55Watts (4 big motors and 2 lil motors) on the drive train allowing for 33 more on the Intake / conveyor / other scoring mechanism.
