@_001 If the rubber bands work, I don’t see a reason they need to be changed. I checked the rule book and didn’t find any rules against this, but you might want to double check. I would make sure to watch for tears, and making sure that they don’t get caught in any other mechanism on your robot. A…

This is a very interesting approach. If it doesn’t work for some reason, intake flaps can also work.

We are using the small wheels that look like the wheel in the middle of your picture.

For a while we had used those black flex stars in your picture for the main part of our intake and then had the flaps in the middle like 50922T. Worked pretty well for us. I honestly believe that the 50922T style intake is almost if not just as good ad a normal intake

Bit late on this but if anyone else needs ideas we took the anti-slip mat and wrapped it around the intake wheels like this: [AC7C15F1-7EB4-4C5A-8D64-0E3E002CFC2A_1_201_a] it helped us get to quarter finals in our first tournament so I would say it worked fairly well, but idk thats my opinion.
