Will you be attending the NorCal signature event?

https://youtu.be/_1HvvoY5D3w One of the fastest match loaders we’ve seen on the field doing a full cycle in 12 seconds at 133 SPM! We like their sensors including their distance sensor for their kicker, inertial sensor for auto balance and using Odometry and PID for driving. Plus functional zip ties?! Check out this awesome and their QR code which helps newer teams in VRC on Pits & Parts.

No, all the events we are attending are on top of this thread

However I will also be attending the NE Wisconsin Signature for about half a day as it’s close to where I live. Otherwise we don’t have any plans for other events for Over Under. Worlds is possible but some other things outside of our control need to come together.

Things are looking in the right direction for us to attend more events for the 24-25 season.

Having a great time at Wave at WPI. Here’s who we’ve interviewed so far. Videos will start coming out next week!

awsome can’t wait to see them.

https://youtu.be/qILEanpyV2g 5327R GAEL FORCE RAHHHHHHHH had one of the most effective blockers we’ve seen able to block from any angle. Their over-centered lock ensures their block is always up and also acts as an anti blocker for match loads. 5327R has good offensive power too with a powerful 6 motor drive. Take a look at this Over Under robot on Pits & Parts.

We’re headed off to Sugar Rush this week and could use some suggestions on teams to keep an eye out for to interview. Let us know what teams and importantly anything you can add to a team that makes them stand out would be a big help.

If you are at Sugar Rush please come by and say hi! I’d be delighted to hear more about you and/or your team :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve been looking forward to this event for quite some time, despite the fact that my team won’t be there (hopefully next year), It’s the first time there’s been a Signature in my region, and a lot of teams that are very competitive but aren’t able to attend most Signatures are going to be there.
Some of my recommendations would be:

  • 81Z – their now-graduated sister team won Overall Excellence at Worlds in 2022, and 81Z made divisional finals themselves at Worlds last year. Very competitive, and one of the top teams in my region.

  • 6121C – Consistently one of the top teams in East PA, they won skills at nearly every local event last year (their TrueSkills ranking is currently 39 in the world). As a public school team, they aren’t usually able to attend Signatures and I would love to see them highlighted!

  • 81X – same organization as 81Z, and also excellent. Currently top 100 in the world in skills, and their notebook is absolutely incredible from what I’ve heard.

  • 842T – an all-girls team who just moved to HS VRC this year. Did fantastic in middle school previously (making worlds and dominating the region) and are doing well this year, too.

In addition to these four, I’d also highlight 293Z (consistently top in my region, especially in skills), as well as 1267V (really cool flatbot rebuild).

Thanks for doing this, by the way. Gives my team something to watch during school…
