Is it legal to have an alignment peace that goes past the goal wall to help align the robot with the goals??? I thought i had read that nothing can protrude past the wall, have watched lots of videos of robots using peace’s that go past to help with alignment.

Remember the game manual tells you how to score points and things you are not allowed to do.
We have read the manual cover to cover and have not found any rule saying you cant. One of our coaches says theirs a rule we cant,
well. your coaches are wrong. ask them to site a specific ruling or QnA. if there is no rule agaisnt it then it is allowed. ( i would highley recomend alighners makes driving and programing alot easier)
Ask your coach to show you what rule it is, and share that here on the Forum. As a certified head referee, I’m kind of curious what rule it is.
