Googly Eyes as non-functional decorations

I have this Middle School team that has googly eyes and I was wondering if they were legal for the actual matches before we head out for our first competition. If its not legal can we get other ideas for decorations.

At our first comp we saw a pushbot with googly eyes. It was my favorite robot at the competition, (besides ours, of course ).

In other words, yes, it is legal, as long as it is a nonfunctional decoration. (The performance of the robot will not change if they are removed).

I remember there was this one team that had almost all pink parts and on the license plate there were gems and sparkles glued on.
there was also a crown, obviously their team name was the Pink Princesses or something
