hello, y’all; I built the vex height measurer for the competition. our robot is at the top of a gear, and when it hits the measurer, the gear spins and compresses, and slides underneath. it that still legal?
I think that some inspectors may or may not pass that. I would try to make it lower so that you wouldn’t have to go through that at the beginning of a competition.

Please end a picture of what you mean. By what you have said, I do not think this is legal. You may not exceed over the 15" height limit (with the exception of minor incidents like driving over something on the field).
