Hi, our middle school team wants to build an 8 wheel, 6 motor, 3.25 inch wheel drive train but I can’t find much help online. The team only started last year, so we need some detailed assistance. I saw xenon27 gave some great diagrams, but would love to see a reveal of a whole drive train.
Also, one post said the 3.25 wheels use a different plastic that doesn’t have as much grip as 4 inch wheels. Is that still true?
Thanks

About traction, there isn’t much of a difference, but I would recommend using the new 3.25 anti static wheels because they have more mounting options and are easier to build with.
Note that using Brass inserts for wheels is good, and make the wheels on screw joints, as it reduces friction and makes it easier to build in general.

That’s great, thanks so much
Sweet, thanks! That makes it very clear.
