How do Apriltags work

This year they are including Apriltags in the game field so I need help on how the vision sensor and how Apriltags work

I’m planning to use this for the autonomous to navigate better

dunno, but interial + odoms are generally better and cheaper

AprilTags are mainly just unique identifiers for the AI Vision Sensor. It allows the robot to detect which one you are at and in turn helps you redirect and position yourself.
