How do you think that skills will play out this year?

How will you expect that the high stakes season skills will play out throughout the year? Do you think that there will be a lot of ties or that scores would be spread out? Do you think skills stop time will come into play? Do you think it will play out similarly to Over Under? Questions like these

I personally believe they will be closer together due to the lower scores in general.

Honestly I think it’s just going to come down to how fast someone robot is and how fast they can collect rings. Also this will not be anything like over under in the sense theat you don’t need to add an attachment in that sense.

I think scores will be similar because early-season bots all look quite similar. However, the strategy might be a bit different for each team because of the positive and negative corners.

With how few objects there are compared to last year (60 to 39), and how all objects start in the same positions every match, I am convinced that there are going to be 3 skills score “tiers” with stop-time races at each tier. The first tier will probably be at 44-52 where robots score and move mobile goals but can’t descore the mobile goals, score on wall stakes, or climb. The next tier will be at 63-71 with descoring and wall stake scoring but no climb. The final tier will be at 82-92 with everything and a race for the highest stop time.

We are already working on getting to the 3rd tier and optimizing that path as soon as possible because as long as tier 3 isnt the meta, we can win most matches.

Yeah, I was thinking it was going to play out with very similar scores, but I wanted to see other people opinions on it.
