Hello, I’m a sophomore in high school and I’m currently hoping to major in computer engineering after graduating.
I’ve done lots of regular programming in the past, and I’m currently the programmer for our team’s High Stakes robot this year. However, I’ve still never had the chance to try doing “bare metal programming”. I would love to try and experience this before going to college, and I thought creating an operating system for the VEX V5 brain–similar to PROS–would be an excellent way of learning this skill.
Alas, my machinations were swiftly thwarted–the VEX V5 SDK isn’t publicly available!
Is there any way of contacting VEX, signing a non-disclosure agreement myself, and getting access to this SDK?
