This is the notebook in my hand. Can you give me an example of what kind of things I should write in it?
The engineering notebook is where teams document their thought process and team progress over the season. To do so, I would recommend dedicating the first few pages to formatting, team information, and this season’s challenge. I would then list the engineering design process steps, which varies depending on which website you get it from (cite your sources!) Then I would start by setting goals after that, and then start showing your robot progress through design, building, and show programming and driving strategies and the development of them. Write scrimmage scores between your team and other teams. Write what your team wants to do for improvement. Write how your team prepares for tournaments. Break down tournaments and list different aspects of it. How to break down tournaments can be found here in a different post of mine: Notebook page starters? - #6 by andromedagalactic4 .
Remember that creativity is key! I would also recommend viewing other notebook reveals from other teams that have kindly taken the time to share their notebooks with us. I know I participate in VRC, but the concept of the engineering notebook should still be similar when it comes to the general content.
document your thoughts, what did you do,how did you did it,
I would write down your successes your failures, what did you do to overcome that failure? If it was a success, what did you do to have that success? Make it colorful and nicely presented. Good luck!
Hello! I am a professional notebooker.
I add drawings, math, plans, daily goals; ie: We want to finish coding today, and pictures. You can order them however you want. Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YsT3gh1y1I

It’s a digital notebook this year.
You can have either or for the EN. Some teams use digital some teams (like mine) use a regular one. There’s no rule stating teams HAVE to do a digital notebook.
