How to calculate Avg points?

My son had - 2023 Virginia Middle School VIQC State Championship on 4-Mar-2023, Event - RE-VIQC-22-7775. Abd his team code is 99397A - Vex Warriors.
I am not able to understand how the average point calculation was done and need some help to understand that.

#19 - 107
#27 - 111
#39 - 0
#44 - 72
#52 - 97
#60 - 170

As per rules Highest 6 scores should be average out.
So it should be (149+130+107+111+170+97)/6 = 127 after dropping out (0, 72)

But the average result is (149+130+107+111+170+0)/6 = 111 after dropping out (72, 97)

The lowest score which needs to dropped out should be => 0 and 72 not 72 and 97.

Please help me to understand.

Was your 0 score a DQ or a no-show? Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Team 99397A was a surrogate team in their last match (as indicated by an asterisk on the match schedule) - that means they got to play an extra match in order to fill out the schedule. Surrogate matches do not count towards the team’s rankings. Only 1 match score is dropped (0) because there are only 7 matches per team, and the remainder that count (149,130,107,111,72,97) are averaged.
