If someone can, can you make a ratchet to help us connecting from a drivetrain to anything else to share the power of the motor?
Can someone just let us understand how to do it?
Do you have pneumatics? If so, you can use a cylinder/piston (whatever you want to call it) to move an axle with gears side-to-side, changing which gears mesh when it does. Here is a diagram:
As you can see on the diagram, the cylinder can move its axle such that its gears mesh with nothing, mechanism 1’s gears, mechanism 2’s gears, or even both mechanisms’ gears. If you use a motor to power the axle moved by the cylinder, you can share the motor’s power with choice in regards to which mechanisms to power.
What design and motor distribution were you thinking? A 1 motor drivetrain PTO seems unnecessary and difficult. There is probably a simpler way to achieve what your aiming for.
