HS vs LS drivetrain?

Hi, my team are considering whether we should focus on HS or LS gears in our drivetrain. We want the lower friction from LS, but as we are running a full 55W strategy, at a relatively low rpm, we are considering whether high strength may be the best here, not really for the gears but more for the axles (which, of course, can’t be used with LS gears). What are you running this season?

Our drive gears are powered by LS shafts, I’ve never found it necessary to use HS shafts, they take up more weight and require drilling holes through the metal.

Ever seen this thing called shaft adapters? They make it super easy to shift hs gears to be able to be used with ls axels. The part number is below the part if you are interested in buying them

use ls shafts but use hs gears if u screw joint ur wheels
