I made a vacuum mechinism, but I need help keeping the pin to stack

I made a vacuum mechanism, and the pins can’t stack after I lift them. The reason for this is that the pin tumbles, which would make it a dead pin. If you have any suggestions to solve this problem, just comment.

It did work, but the pin tilled over like this

If you add a cross brace and connect the belts with 4 gears (or any even number of gears), the belts will spin at the same speed, likely eliminating this tilt. Here’s a sketch: (sorry it’s so sloppy)

Additionally, you could add some sort of line-up for the pin as it travels up the belt. I also know the YouTube channel, chewbotca, has some good tutorials for conveyors.
