Me and my team are going to the finnish championchips in spring after we won the school finals. We made our own drivetrain that is like the x drive, but point in the same directions as the walls, and are each at a different corner. Im now resarching new and better desings but I cant find anything similar to what we made, why is this? Why are we the only ones who have made something like this? Is there something fundementally bad about the desing? Any light on this would help!
I cant provide pictures, but I can draw on paint what it looked like.
The boxes are the wheels (yes I know we shouldve put them on the inside, but we’ll fix that in the next iteration of the chassis)
