I was messing around with custom icons and found this today on my controller

I was messing around with changing the program icon on the brain the other day and I turned on my V5 today and the controller has this icon on it. Does any one know how this works or how to replicate it?

Controller icons are weird. I don’t think there’s a public API for it, but there are definite ways to change them. The battery medic hidden away with VEXCode makes the controller display an alien head, for example. I’ve tried taking a look at the binary, but haven’t been able to figure out how to change the icon myself in a program. What exactly did you do to get it to change?

I saw a team at competition once that had the Alien head icon when running their program.
