I got to step 125 and the step calls for a “drive shaft bar lock” which my team doesn’t have. we didn’t know if there were any alternatives but would like to know if there are.
Ask your teacher. I think every team should some. Maybe look at a general supplies area for your team if you have one
Anything with an axle hole and bolt holes should work as long as things line up. I often use small high-strength gears in high-torque applications, as the surface area contracting the axle is much greater than that of the plate lock bars.

They come with all the VEX IQ kits. As @Mavric said, you can use a pulley, gear, sprocket, center of the turntable, or the cross that have a square hole in the center with pin holes around the center it (like the 24 tooth gear) and pin the gear to the beam. Over the top is to use a wheel hub.
