Gear ratios more pure math than science. If you actually want to learn, you can complain, but five emoji at the end doesn’t seem related to the speed of the robot.

No one asked if you were a “mathematical god”, only further derailing the conversation. Granted, I feel the swerve drive joke was out of place when you seem really confuzzled at times, but life is more than basic algebra.

Equations are equations. Physics is the application of math equations to help estimate real-world properties. Sure, you will not be dealing with planetary gears in VEX IQ, but gear ratios are just that - “ratios”. If you haven’t learned that yet, essentially have the motor connected to a big gear and have that big gear spin a smaller gear, and attach the wheel to the smaller gear. If you don’t want to wander into “physics equations”, I won’t explain why that leads to a faster RPM, but you’re going to be missing out on part of the engineering process.

Context when one person mentioned that RobotC allowed for 8 slots on IQ while VEXCode only had 4:
thats not how it works- the number of slots is in correlation to the robot brain, not the programming language
They were already talking about file size being some contributor. I’m assuming you incorrectly assumed “slots” meant places to plug in ports, not “slots” as the number of different programs you can upload on the brain. If you want help or want to give help, you’ll need more than one-line zingers that don’t help us know the problem you’re facing. I’m sure @technik3k will phrase this more eloquently than I, but you need to make us understand your problem better without complaining if you need help.
Also, get used to a little tangentially-related talk on the forums.
