Good morning all! Just providing a heads up as per our local REC rep’s suggestion. A huge shoutout to our REC rep, Mike, he was a huge help to my students during this moment of confusion.
Yesterday, at a competition my team got DQd in the middle of a match because of vertical expansion.
While the vertical expansion rule is in the rule book SG3- it is not a check on the inspection list so it was not caught before hand. Just a heads up to those of you with vertical expansion, check the rule because it won’t be checked during inspection.
