Me and my team have been having trouble with our intake friction. we have been looking to improve the speed of our intake and we decided to start with the friction. Any sugustions?
bearings. without them, the square shape of the shafts goes up against the square shape of the holes.
check your spacing. when the motor is not attached, it should free spin for quite a few rotations. make sure your bearings are aligned and there is little metal on metal contact. I like to put shaft collars in the middle of the shaft and put spaces contacting the c-channels instead.
I totally forgot! Thank you
I know that this is what I forgot but if anyone has any more suggestions please tell
I’ve had similar issues. If there is any way to move the shafts apart from each other in a way, according to the picture, horizontally, it might loosen up a bit. (it worked for my team). Good luck! (I also agree with 56860A about the bearing flats.)
could it possibly have anything to do with using metal gears?
