Intake help starting out

I need help making my intake, do u use axles for these flex wheels. Im trying to make an intake, for triballs.

You need to use the Hex adaptors along with the hs>ls axle insert.
This is one of the hex adaptors: (There’s also one to the right in your photo.)

This is the hs>ls insert: (what you use in normal wheels)

You put the hex adaptor in the versa hub, and then the shaft insert in the hex adaptor. (unless you are using a high strength axle, in that case you don’t need the insert.)

For flex wheels, you add the versa hax adapter then the larger to smaller axle adapter then you can use the flex wheels on an axle.

Also, I would suggest adding screws to the versa hubs so they don’t fall off.

For the intake design itself, there are so many different options and it all depends on what you want it to do and how your robot is set up.

My suggestion is to go look at robot reveals on YouTube to see the different intake options and then decide what works best for your robot.
