Integration of Anti-Static Omni and Traction Wheels into Kits

Continuing the discussion from New Products - February 2022:

Just wondering, it’s been over 2 years since the announcement, and the clawbot classroom kit, competition super kit, and competition starter kit are still shipping with the old omni and traction wheels. Just wondering, is there an estimated timeline for when the new anti-static wheels will be integrated into the kits? How much stock is left there to burn through? Thank you!

What’s the differench between static and Anti-static wheels?

Anti-static omni and new traction wheels look like this:

While the older ones looked like this:

The old traction wheels were a misnomer, as they had no practical traction (they had the least of all other wheels). The newer ones (from what I heard) had great traction.
For both wheels, the new ones also have holes on the spokes, allowing things like gears to be mounted without the hassle of using 8 standoffs and a ton of spacers (for the old ones).
The new omni wheels also live up to their dimensions, as the old ones were slightly (1/8 ‘’?) larger than their promised diameter.

Yay! No more flow vs attack arguments now with the new wheel design!

My school recently acquired some new clawbot kits, and they include the new traction and omni wheels. Thank you!

It must’ve been based on the region. We ordered 10 CSK from Hong Kong to Vietnam, and all we have until now are old VEX wheels and even gears :smiling_face_with_tear:.
