Is anyone else doing a scrimage bot? In order to get practice for 2 drivers, our team might use a scrimage bot so we can test our main bot is this standard practice?
Depends on the team.
For some, they have the parts and the manpower that it makes sense for them to have 2 robots
Others (like ours) decide the drivetrain first, build a quick mockup, and let the drivers practice the new drivetrain
We are mainly using it for pushing our main driver a bit more and for helping our sister team learn how to build an actually decent bot
