The basic idea is that I want to make the controller vibrate when the code has 10 seconds of stuff left to do so I can call an early endgame during a programming skills run. I can’t find a specific rule against returning feedback to the controller during a skills run, but it still feels a little dubious and I want a little more concrete ruling to say against anyone who might call me on it. Any advice people can give will be greatly appreciated.
Looking over at rule RSC7 it doesn’t seem like it is necessary to inform the ref if you are starting endgame early.

The game manual tells you things you must do and things that you are prohibited from doing. It would be impossible for the manual to tell you everything that you might do, and rarely, if ever, tells anything about gameplay, strategy, mechanisms, or programming.

If it isn’t in the game manual, it’s legal.
