Is Lubricant legal for VEX IQ? Game manual is contradicting

Hi everyone. The Level Up Game manual v0.1 was released recently and there may be some contradictions for Lubricants (or I am just understanding it wrong):

The “Robot Checklist” says that Lubricants are part of the illegal parts list:

But Rule 14 states that “Food-safe lubricants (grease, oils, or other lubricants) may be used on Robots, provided they are used in moderation and can not contaminate the Field, other Robots, Field Elements, and/or Scoring Objects.”

Does this mean that Food-safe lubricants can be applied to the robot, as long as it is in moderation and won’t contaminate the field? Or is this a typo?

I agree that is a contradiction and perhaps an oops by the GDC. The addition of Rule 14 indicates to me that they are allowing food-safe lubricants now, but that they missed adjusting the language in the Robot Summary section.

My guess is it will be clarified in the QA and fixed in the first game manual update.
