Our catapult for the swish robot isn’t working as intended. It’s not popping up as it should be but instead moving slowly up. Is the back part of the catapult meant to not be connected to the rest of the robot? Please respond soon.

What do you mean by not supposed to be connected to the rest of the robot? Without seeing your robot it is pretty hard to accurately figure out what your problem is (tl;dr pictures please, help us help you😁)
we had that same problem, check your rachet if it’s installed or correctly if it’s built correctly. if you didn’t use the rachet I recommend building one. If that does not work a catapult is not the only way to score points, a conveyer belt or grabber works to!
