Just wanted to know, we were using motors for our bot and some motors perform less and we wanted to know whether there was a difference between gen 1 and gen 2.
There are only IQ motors, there is no gen 1 or 2, so no, all IQ motors are the same.
its just how new they are last year my team used all grey motors since they where the newest, you will be allright as long as you use all the same motors for your mechanism. IE all grey vex or blue and grey vex.
oh we were confused by the different colours labelling the vex motors and we thought it was different generations (also saw different generations in vex code so)
