There is no app but, If you are on IOS you can create a shortcut thing that looks like an app but will redirect you too the website when you click on it.

click the export button on safari and then click “add to home screen”
Probably there is a similar feature for android but i am not sure.

Please remember to search the forum before starting a new topic.
The VEX Forum is already supported as a mobile progressive web app. And it supports delivering notifications through the browser. There would be literally no point in any further investment in making dedicated “apps” with the current feature set of Discourse.
If you want a desktop “app,” just use a browser that supports notifications and bookmark the site (and/or make a shortcut to open the forum from outside your browser).
I am not sure why Discourse does not support PWA on the desktop. Deskt…
@Xenon27 that is an old thread from when the forum was running esoTalk. Things have changed since then.
Here is an up-to-date state of affairs:
TL;DR for the OP: Just “install” the VEX Forum as a progressive web app. There will probably be an option to do this somewhere in your browser’s menu. It will look and feel like an app installed on your phone, even though it technically is not.
