I added this mesh so when we get an opposing team’s balls we can just store them in there. When we spin our outtakes in a certain way the balls drop through. This is a fast process that we can do if we are mid scoring. The capacity is 3 balls.

Probably not worth it, would recommend just tuning the scoring instead of 3 opponent balls. Maybe innovate?

It’s definitely legal, I’ve considered things like this, but I recommend increasing storage, since 3 really isn’t very many. You could also consider using a sensor to automatically sort it.

Would be worth it, if it held more balls. Invest in either a color sorting system using the same mechanisms is what I would recommend. Although, @Cam91745B is right, you should focus more on tuning your intake first if it isn’t well tuned already.
