The Legal Parts Catalog has part number 228-2500-389 buried at the end of the catalog.
Does anyone know where it is used or what Hexbug or Vex IQ kit contains that part?
228-2500-389 was found in the VEX Robotics by HEXBUG RC Dart Blaster (SKU 406-8301)

I don’t see part 228-2500-389 in the build instructions, could be missing it…
It would be nice if there was an open database/spread sheet we on the forum people could easily access. That mapped parts to kits, feels like an intern could knock something like this out in a day easy. Heck, give us a csv file of all kits and all parts in each one, some kid on here would knock it out on here free to

Unfortunately, this is something we don’t even have a complete internal database for. 
Many of these answers rely on either myself or @Connor_Mk to dig through our near encyclopedic knowledge (this is more Connor than myself) of VEX Retail Kits (he and/or I contributed to a large majority of them while we were both interns here), or manually digging through BOMs.
We generally don’t mind answering questions like this. It is usually easier and will take less time than making said database would.

Augh, sorry. The first google search result of ‘HEXBUG Gatling Rapidblast’ took me to hexbug site for the Gatling Rapid Fire Instructions and that’s what I was looking at. (VEX Robotics Gatling Rapid Fire by HEXBUG | HEXBUG)
I understand the value of having knowledge from being around so long. As soon as you document something nobody else knows, job security becomes a little less, lol.
