Since the new game Level Up was revealed, what are some robot ideas we could build?
As many have already stated, please provide your own ideas for feedback before asking others for theirs. Like said above, a general problem is asking for solutions before thinking up your own. Give us some of your ideas before asking for ours.
Another thing, we understand that people need to think of ideas first but that doesn’t mean you can’t help us. The reason why we make these post is because we need help for stuff we don’t know yet.
@76782AHighVoltage I will definitely try but the reason why I asked was because I am confused and don’t know what to build yet.
Build the hero bot for a starting point, you can work from there, adding things if needed, or just when you have a better idea, build that idea immideatly.
@YakshFrom3000ELO Im thinking to build the hero bot, but the part where it has the bean bag storage, I’ll add pneumatic tubes to let the claw extend to score on the L4 platform.
First think a bit about what you want your bot to do. Score the pyramid goals in the corner? Concentrate on L4 (my son’s team is focusing on this initially)? Use lifting arm(s) vs a catapult system? Once you answer a few of these basic questions it will help determine what features you will build into your initial robot. Notebook your ideas and progress, then evaluate how the bot works in real life and adjust from there. Be ready and willing to take down your bot and rebuild, or at least be willing to do major modifications. But just build something to start rather than worrying too much about how your initial bot will function.
As I already step in my last reply, I said I should build a hero bot with a little upgrades to focus on the L4 goal
