I don’t know what the Match Loading Zones are for!?

Take a look at rule SG6 in the game manual. VRC Over Under Game Manual - VEX Robotics
A good read of the whole game manual will answer most questions your team might have.

So in vex VR, if you remove the triball from the red match load zone and then back up, then the button LZ1 (load zone 1) or LZ2 will turn light red, and a new triball will spawn in the red load zone.
