OP is asking about materials, so I feel like it wouldn’t be fair to stray too far from topic. Usually software quality goes hand in hand with hardware quality, which was why I pointed that out as a spoiler.
Even though someone else did release the VEXCode extension, I am unsure if my comment about it needing to be an extension influenced their decision to innovate their coding infrastructure:

I have to admit, I do tend to be brutal with my comments and that’s largely due to my disabilities. However I am incredibly grateful for the path VEXCode is going.
As for the hardware point,
This robot is absolutely insane and I have seen it first hand. That thing is HUGE.
