Monitor Mount for old Metal field perimeters

Does anyone have a monitor mount design for attaching a field monitor to the middle of the center panel on an old style metal field perimeter? Something strong enough for a 24" monitor and raspberry pi.

We moved away from mounting monitors to fields due to impacts causing rPis to lose power or monitors to break when robots hit them.

Our current setup is to use IKEA small kitchen cart - great way to store all the gear in one place and roll into place for competitions. This setup works for raised fields.

Cheaper, just flip a tote upside down as a stand - velcro rPi and smart field controller to monitor. When not in use, all electronics in tote.

A monitor arm with a clamp would probably be enough if you’re willing to spend some money. Here’s a $25 one I found on amazon.

That is what I do. All the electronics for a field, cables, power strip, LEDs all go in a tote. Everything is marked with color tape so it’s easy to tell what tote it goes in. Every field has its own tote. For the matches the monitor sits on the tote about 18" from the field perimeter.

At the end: step 1 is to disconnect and neatly coil the cables, power strip, HDMI and stack everything neatly NEXT to the tote. Step 2 is for ME to count and put everything into the tote and put the towers on top. This says it’s ready to go to the car.

I used to let people put things back into the tote before I had one bright spark put ALL the cables in one tote, Raspberry Pi in another, etc. It was an unpleasant surprise at the next event.

Here is a picture of one field setup:

Thank you! Great ideas and I appreciate the feedback.

lol is that a tipping point base that you used for… what is that a camera?
