Back in Gateway season, I remember seeing a robot dancing pretty well during the match.
Can’t find the video now though.

PS - it was actually a very interesting mechanism that can transformed from a “claw” to a wings for blocking. Might even be useful for this season’s game

this is probably the coolest and most inventive robot I have ever seen! some thing about it feels illegal, but also technically legal. I bet tournaments with this bot would be hilarious. (next year leaf-blower meta)

it wasn’t for competition, but I made a kiwi drive robot (3 wheeled omni drive) over the summer, and that was pretty cool.

I’d honestly say kiwi drives are the one of the weirdest bots I’ve seen too. i still don’t understand the point of them.

More than just being the most interesting.
but also definitely the most groundbreaking and boudary-pushing design.
For those that are not familiar with 2W - it is basically the 1st wallbot in VRC and GDC made changes to the future game rules because of this robot.
PS - they didn’t check with GDC what can be done and what cannot be done in every step of their design and construction.

And here’s my contribution to the list… our “spearing” wallbot back in skyrise.
I remember @tabor473 had a fun time by the side of the field watching all the failed “spearing” attempts. lol…
But credit to the team - the wall definitely worked well enough.
It was so much more fun back then.
